North OS Technologies Ltd. ("North") respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how to report copyright infringement and how we handle such reports under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and UK copyright law (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988).
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice via the North website contact form (subject: "DMCA Notice") including:
Knowingly making a materially false claim may expose you to liability (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including: identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was mistaken; your contact details; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which North may be found); and your signature. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, the content may be restored.
UK rights holders may report infringing content using the same contact channel (subject: "Copyright Notice — UK") with equivalent information: identification of the work, the infringing material, your ownership or authority, your contact details, and a statement of good faith. We will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material identified as infringing, in line with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our discretion, limit access or terminate accounts of users who infringe intellectual property rights of others on a single occasion where severe.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload — and your use of AI-generated outputs — does not infringe third-party rights. See the Terms of Service and AI Usage Policy for details.
All notices should be submitted through the North website contact form with the appropriate subject line noted above.
